Poem of the Week

CONCOCTION

Inspire my soul, like a snake I crawl
Inspire my soul lets rock and roll
Break my skull tap my inspiration
Let it flow into a stream
Let it flow to the valley of damnation

Scream Baby scream
For I have your dream
Your just here a mere creation
You’ll look,, you’ll find your destination
In this mixed up crazy Nation.

Acid burns your tears
It takes away your fears
Lucid is your mind
Your senses  redefined
But you can’t see the picture
You cant see the view
For you are out of focus
So blurred your eyes are still

There are more ways to try
And more ways to die
But heaven isn’t ready
And hell is far away
So take your life and twist it and throw the goods away
And you will see the sunrise

Say hello I’m here to stay,

Poem of The Week

No-Bodies Future

Mirrors of smokey views are the visions that I can see
This makes the things that are not what they seem, different

Imagine the scene in its Psychedelic light
blinding me throughout the night

This is the future, so unclear, do not fear
It’s not for me or for you, we won’t be here

The next generation will express what they feel
They too will dream and fear the future that belongs to their children

Time takes. Time goes; ghostly it travels through closed and empty doors.

Poem of The Week

THE UNWANTED BROTHER
Big brother is here so watch your back
He ain’t no relative of mine
But he knows me through his data line
I’m not protected from his tainted eyes
Or his network of loyal spies
I cannot Chant my god given speech
Or I will find I'm a security breach
So kick me beat me and take my rights
For in this democracy I cannot fight
My mobile phone the tracker
My movements all in view
For this brother is the Kane who will slaughter me and you,
Data man is the brother who will not go away
Technology feeds his hunger and his eyes are his to prey
Don’t step a foot out of line or you will surely be
Just another statistical victim, hung upon his data tree
If you don’t wan’t this brother don’t let him dominate
Turn off your passive nature and stand toe to toe with me
For together we can fight and save democracy
That’s if you want to live, in a world that’s good and free

Poem of The Week

Heaven

Don’t let me go to heaven without you
For it will be so empty without you
The pretty Angels may play their harps
And the music may be sweet
But I don’t want to be in heaven, without you.

God may give me the freedom of the universe
And offer me riches and fame
The fulfilment this could give will mean nothing
If I cannot  share it with you

Even in a place like heaven
Where the stars shine bright and the love is free
I will find no meaning, and in the brightness, I will not see
For the love I have for you and the love you have for me
Can only be ignited when we share our destiny.

Neither of us will shed a tear as we will always be,
Together in this life and together in eternity
So when the day does come for one of us to depart
Let’s share each others journey to prevent a broken heart

Poem of The Week

FRACK ATTACK

.
This is a shale future we are facing.
As the money talks down the fears
We all know the truth and it better not end in tears

The birds will no longer be heard as the sound of the lorries will reign
And the silence we once observed will be replaced by a bellowing pain

We must not accept the bribery and the offer of reward
For this will drift across the sea, where they will count their richly hoard

The message is simple to all who care; don’t mistake gas for hot air
For together we know we can save the day, as we all unite and say

“Frack off once and for all”
“Frack off and go away”.

Poem of The Week

Judgement

I will not judge my fellow man
For this is not my place
If others decide to judge me
I am unable to deter
But I ask before they cast their stones
they look inside their souls and declare an honest decree,
that they themselves are free from sin, so pure for all to see
And even if they feel they are, I will still make my plea
That they refrain from judgement.
For this is not a task for you or a task for me,
We are all answerable to god above and no one else you see
For we are bound to save our own souls and answer individually
