Poem of the week

THIS HALLOWEEN

This Halloween is set to churn
the hollow souls in hell that burn

Weather worn and wicked wash
masked hidden evil lush

Senseless sizzle of witchy air
as mixing spells are made to scare

Tricksters plot in grime and grott
as they knock on doors and take their lot

Spirits dance in shadows
seeking to improve their perpetual plight
on this October All Hallows night.

Poem of The Week

Love Pump

I am the vein that serves your heart
pumping blood to every part

I am the guardian of you soul
guiding as you full fill your role

I am the source of your creation
feeding your mind with inspiration

Lay down with me in shadow and
we shall truly be cocooned in ecstasy.

Poem of the Week

EARLY WINTER

Sh... the faint wind blows the leaves
back and forth along the breeze.

Night so dark and echo strewn
blitzed with light of the silvery moon

Winter night in Autumn time
shows no mercy on those who's plight
leaves them desolate
unable to fight.

Poem of The Week

INNER SPARKLE

Don't grab the first light you see
Let it flicker
And if it flickers and never glows dim
It is the light that sparkles from within.

Poem of the week

AQUAINTANCES

They come and they go
friend and foe.

Many people you will meet
in work and play
but time will wash away the good times
and hide away the bad.

But when you lose your memories it
surely makes you sad.

"I'll keep in touch"
is the cry
but daily deeds dictate
that such an intended promise will soon evaporate

So when you wonder
where and what was the fate of that forgotten mate
just call them and remember

Tommorrow is to late.

Poem of the Week

The Snake

Snake in the grass
Snake in the tree
What you would give to have legs like me.

You slither and slide along the deck,
You'd love to see further with a long stout neck.

"Hiss" is your call it warns of your presence
You don't really care whether you scare or deter.

Snake in the grass
Snake in the tree
If you'd not tempted Eve just think where you might now be !

Poem of the Week

Red Light

Lady of the night
I see your clothes so tight
beneath the glowing light
you offer your delights
