ESCAPE ITS NEVER TO LATE
You sit by the bar
Aware of your fate
Scared by your feelings
Tortured by your pain
I can only hold you
I can call your name
I can love you
But i can’t take your journey, in the main
Long days and long nights all merge into one
As you hit the bottle to scared to run
One day you will find the door
Through which you will depart
I may be the door man
But you can not wait
You should and need
“To escape”.

Poem of the Week
LOVE ACROSS THE OCEAN
You are to me a love so free
You drive my thoughts with musical glee
I engage with you in every way
I join with you entwined in play
Although you are so far away
I long for you each night each day.
Time will pass and days will go
I will not sleep until we sow
And when one day I cross the ocean
You will see for yourself my deep devotion
Our hearts will merge and reward our endeavour
and we will embrace in bodily pleasure
When the night turns to day
dawn will break with sun touched rays
and alas our destiny will be on its way
You are to me a love so free
You drive my thoughts with musical glee
I engage with you in every way
I join with you entwined in play
Although you are so far away
I long for you each night each day.
Time will pass and days will go
I will not sleep until we sow
And when one day I cross the ocean
You will see for yourself my deep devotion
Our hearts will merge and reward our endeavour
and we will embrace in bodily pleasure
When the night turns to day
dawn will break with sun touched rays
and alas our destiny will be on its way

Poem of the Week
Love Tor
I remember, I can’t forget
Our climb up Black Hill
The light was your voice
As you led me by the hand.
This night i became your Heathcliffe
Possessed for all time by your vision.
I will never be without you
You are still my destiny
You are my goal
Without your love i am not whole .
My tainted heart aches to beat once more
The way it did on Black hill Tor
We will again share the moon
It may be distant, it may be soon
But either way i’ll not forget
How we danced in tune.
With no regret.

Poem of the Week
The Slug
Oh you lucky snail, when the rain came down you hid in your shell
I got wet but what the hell
It’s summer; I smell the marigolds in full bloom
Off we go, it’s a race, let our bellies wriggle for first place
Oh I’m a lucky slug, no heavy shell on my shoulder blades
What’s this upon the ground ?Short and round, tastes quite good
Oh dear I’m feeling queer
Oh you lucky snail upon the marigold stem
Oh you lucky snail, when the rain came down you hid in your shell
I got wet but what the hell
It’s summer; I smell the marigolds in full bloom
Off we go, it’s a race, let our bellies wriggle for first place
Oh I’m a lucky slug, no heavy shell on my shoulder blades
What’s this upon the ground ?Short and round, tastes quite good
Oh dear I’m feeling queer
Oh you lucky snail upon the marigold stem

Poem of the week
Golf
A solid ball a metal club is all you need to play the game of golf.
A lot of luck and natural ability does make the game seem easy,
but for the masses that partake this easy game many are often driven crazy
It is sold to many as a way of relaxation but lengthy spells in long grass can turn into frustration
Pimping trousers worn by many are a distance from their suited appearance
This escape from reality ensures that they can behave without their sanity
As a member of the club one can rub shoulders with duke and dame but back in civilian life a bank clerk they remain
Ladies rooms and Gentleman’s rooms segregate the sexes
Men drink and crack rude jokes, while ladies play bridge and talk of their domestics
For many to be Captain is a prize, an honour beyond their wildest dreams, for in reality they cannot shine so in the golf club they reign supreme
The power of captain or committee man can soon address their life’s gaping hole
They soon enforce their weekend powers to pounce upon the poor soul who dares to break the club’s sacred dress code

Book Signing Success
Mrs Richardson proprietor of the Scroll book shop stated "This was the most successful book signing event in 30 years ever held at the small independent book store" The small traditional book shop sits proudly in the centre of Kirkham.
Several signed copies of the book will be held in the store and this will be a regular high street outlet for the book. As valentines approaches this is an ideal present for any loved one.
